I gues it all boils down to the ambulance dude threatening to sell a document after he made false claims that Jett Travolta’s family and/or caretakers signed a waiver that they did not want to ship Jett to the hospital to receive further care.

These types of waivers are not handed out to people that have serious injuries. These are the types of documents you sign off on when you have a minor injury and feel like you don’t need any further care. It falls under the “cover my ass” category.

If a medic feels that you could benefit from being hauled to get medical treatment at a hospital or similar facility.. and YOU say that you don’t need the help or treatment, the medics have to get it in writing.

In the case with Jett Travolta there was no question or option to refuse treatment. He was in a critical life or death condition.

Mr Lightbourne figured he could extort millions of dollars from the Travolta estate if he threatened to go public with falsified paperwork and damage the reputation of the already suffering victims.

Well, he’s in jail. What are the laws in the Bahamas about this kind of crime? I don’t know! Have a nice day, asshole.
