Fans Leave Bad Taste In Travolta’s Mouth After Death Of Son
By celeb news • Jan 17th, 2009 • Category: News, actors, fans lash out
Wow, people really know how to crawl out of the woodwork when tragedy strikes a celebrity. It’s almost as if regular people are happy when a popular guy suffers.
John Travolta’s teenage son died in a freak accident. Reportedly - the young man suffered a fatal blow to the head while in the bathroom (Jan 2009) - either a slip and fall or as a result of an out of control seizure.
Folks are ranting and raving about John Travolta and his following of Scientology. The star is being mob lynched with accusations - people are lashing out and claiming that he didn’t furnish proper care and medication for his 16 year old son, Jett.
If I was rich and famous, I would have my child monitored at all times even if there were no medical conditions. Yes, I would hire guards in addition to nannies, and pamper my child no matter the cost. If you’ve got a bankroll, security and safety should be a priority when it comes to family.
So, listen up people - aka supposed fans - you shouldn’t be making such a big to do about the fact that Jett was supervised by two nannies and an electronic listening device similar to a baby monitor. Don’t shout about how the child must have been suffering from some severe affliction if John Travolta persisted with such strident safety measures.
It’s public knowledge that Jett Travolta did have a medical condition known as Kawasakis disease. But, the public isn’t satisfied knowing so little. They maintain that Kelly and John Travolta owe them an explanation as to what else was wrong with the kid. The public insists that the Travolta’s are hiding too much about their own personal lives. Sad sad!
Vinny Barberino had many fans. I was one of them! I can remember thinking about that sweathog and agreeing to myself that I “might” give a guy like him a chance at a date with me…. if only I could hide the likes of him from my snobby friends.
But, in reality, I can appreciate the need for privacy when it comes to keeping family matters as far away from the public eye as possible. We, as humans, are always going to speculate on the private affairs of others - especially those situations surrounded by the scent of mystery. But, for Pete’s sake, fans and sharks of the media - do you know how to let up and let a family grieve??
